We are pleased to present the latest innovation from i4M technologies: the nemione nemi Log (+ cellular). This extension of the nemi Log now makes it possible to upload data via cellular radio and thus offers a multitude of advantages, especially in the field of construction monitoring.
What is nemi Log?
nemi Log is a sophisticated data acquisition system that can be operated completely wirelessly. It continuously collects data from up to eight wireless sensor nodes and is itself equipped with an acceleration, rotation rate and magnetic field sensor as well as GPS. Thanks to the high efficiency of the proprietary nemi Link 2400 wireless technology, nemi Log achieves very long internal battery runtimes. In the basic version, the recorded data is stored on a micro SD card which can be removed and read.
The advanced + cellular version: What’s new?
With the new + cellular version of nemi Log, we have considerably expanded the data transmission options. By using energy-efficient cellular communications (NB-IoT or LTE-M), the collected data can now be sent wirelessly to central servers or cloud services. This offers considerable advantages, especially in construction monitoring, because not only medium-term measurements with high sampling rates are now possible, but also long-term measurements at low sampling rates.

- Flexible adaptation of the nemi Link 2400 radio channel enables long radio ranges
- Integrated acceleration, rotation rate and magnetic field sensor (3 axes each) and GPS

- Provides the data via energy-efficient cellular radio (NB-IoT or LTE-M) (in the + cellular version)
- Flexible power supply: integrated rechargeable battery, solar panel, external battery, 24 V power connection – all of these are possible

Application areas of the nemi Log
- Continuous monitoring of measuring points with low data rates (e.g. structural monitoring): Thanks to its energy-efficient design, nemi Log enables measurements over many months / years
- More precise monitoring of a measuring point with a negative trend: If required, long-term monitoring with low sampling rates can be switched online to monitor the desired measuring point with higher sampling rates
- Everywhere where no cellular radio is available (e.g. remote measuring points / underground / tunnel construction): nemi Log saves the data on an SD card
- Moving / rotating applications (e.g. roller coasters): Thanks to the integrated rechargeable battery and data transmission via radio, nemi Log can be operated completely wirelessly and integrated into the rotating system
- Ad hoc measurements over several days / weeks: quick and easy installation of the nemi Log, as no cables need to be laid
