Together with our customer Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG, we are delighted about the opening of the latest, spectacular multi launch roller coaster Voltron Nevera at Europa-Park and are proud to be on board with a condition monitoring system.

To monitor acceleration and rotation rates, the nemi DAQ telemetry module and the nemi EdgeBase gateway are installed deep in the vehicle body. They transmit out of an almost complete Faraday cage. Nevertheless, the measured data can be reliably transmitted with our nemi Link 2400 wireless technology and enable reliable condition monitoring of the roller coaster. The reason for this is the flexibility and robustness of our wireless network, as the setting options allow the wireless network to be optimally adapted to the respective conditions.

Before the Voltron roller coaster, the BlueFire roller coaster at Europa-Park had already been equipped with a nemione condition monitoring system. Details can be found in the Use Case Online Monitoring for the analysis of the dynamic behavior of roller coasters.
